Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
In the court filed answers to a legal complaint to recover owing salary, the defense counsel has denied that I am owed salary.
I have several emails from the defendant in which they confirm I am owed the salary and I will produce them as evidence.
Can the defendants answer to the complaint via their attorney, be considered as perjury ? - Thank you.

Not necessarily. I assume you are representing yourself pro se? If so, you might want to conside obtaining counsel. The Illinois Wage Payment Act provides for attorney fees and costs in successful wage payment acitons.
