Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I was an employee at Sears and we have a program called shop your way rewards for customers most associates are part of the program also. When ringing up a customer cashiers have the option of signing up the customer or bypassing it. This program you get points on everything you buy and this turns into money. Well I did this several times and I got fired and I have to pay $250 it says I might was to consult a lawyer so I am I really don't know what to do I'm scared. I just want to pay this amount and be done but the letter says just paying this does not ensure that that's the end of it. I don't know what to do, please help

You may be facing theft charges.
You will most likely want to consult with an attorney and do not talk with anyone regarding this.
