Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I have an employment contact that stipulates my pay, benefits, expenses, etc. I am just over two months into the the six month contract. Today I was told that the entire sales team would be moving to 100% commission and I would no longer be paid my salary. This, they say, includes the pay period that ended 5/31/10 and the salary that I was to be paid on 6/5/2010 would not be paid. What is my recourse? I hold several sales contracts and relationships that could, quite literally, determine the future of the company. The next 24 hours are critical! Any help you can offer would be very appreciated.
