Health Insurance
My husband has been a member of a concrete finishers union for 10 yrs. since he finished his apprenticeship he has asked about health insurance and they told him they did not have it available for that particular local. Is this legal? During the 10yrs. that he has been a union member our daughter was diagnosed with cancer our med. bills are astronomical. Is there some recourse?

Hello. This is terrible and
your husband should contact
his union representative
immediately. Technically, you
could file suit against the
local union, however see what
can be done through your union
representative before going
to court.
