Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I was issued a written warning as a form of disciplinary action for findings on an audit that docked me points; I received a passing score. Three weeks later I was terminated for the same audit that I was previously disciplined for. In my opinion this is a form of double jepordy. Was my termination legal?

Double jeopardy is a term that applies to criminal proceedings. It has no relevance here. In Illinois, an employer can terminate you with or without notice and with or without cause, unless the termination violates a contract or law.
