Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I live in Illinois. I have a few questions. #1 if an employer has employees work 7 hrs without a lunch break can this be reported and if so how do you do it ? #2 if an employer tells you you get paid on the 1st and 15th but pays you 3 business days later is this legal ? 3rd If an employee has works tues, wed, thurs, fri, sun and has sat and mon off , but a doctor (pyschiatrist) has wriiten a note stating the employee needs 2 days off in a row to prevent a nervous breakdown and the employee was denied is there a case for disability ? If another employee who works mon, wed, thurs, sat and off tues, thurs, sun is granted another 2 days off as listed as leave of absence to drive her uncle to dialysis is this legal and does the employee who was denied have any legal rights ?

Thank you.

You have a lot of questions and issues. In Illinois, an employer must grant you a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break no later than 5 hours after the start of a work period if you work 7-1/2 hours or more in a day. Also, an employer must post pay days and pay you on the posted pay day. Finally, your question about specific days off depends entirely upon your medical care provider's medical advice. The employer is entitled to a second medical opinion.
