Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

My manager and the district manager wants to have a meeting with me but wont tell me what its about, Are they required to tell me?

The answer depends on the type of employer. This sounds like a retail or sales environment. Unless you are a union member with a collective bargaining agreement in place, they must inform you if they plan to discuss matters that could result in discipline. Otherwise, they do not need to let you know. As a practical matter, do more listening than speaking. Avoid signing anything and avoid making any admissions of wrongdoing even if they appear to want to "help" you.
