im pregnant and my job will not let me be on light duty even when my doctor has given it to me. they said they do not have to honor it because i did not hurt myself at work

Generally, an employer is not required to offer light duty to pregnant employee UNLESS it offers such light duty to other workers who, for medical reasons, cannot perform their job. I think you have something worth exploring. Please contact me at your convenience.
