Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I was recently fired from a job after I texted them that I wouldn't be coming in on that because i was having anviety attacks all night due to my PTSD, that they knew about. I just emailed the company asking for copies of my paychecks and they told me they don't keep that infomation. How do I go about getting my paycheck stubs if they don't keep a copy? Also, if I was dignosed with PTSD and they know that I had problems during the night can I be fired for calling in?

A company is required to keep records of your earnings, not necessarily copies of your paycheck. I think you want copies of your payroll stubs?
With respect to being fired for "texting in," your employer can fire you if you did not follow their call in procedures. However, each situation is different and you should speak to competent counsel to go over the facts of your situation to determine if you might have an action for wrongful termination.
