Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
We are salary based and the the company wants us to work 6-days with no compensation. Is this illegal?

Not necessarily. If you are an "exempt" employee then the employer can use you 24/7 pretty much. But if the "salary" is a ruse around fair labor standards, you might have a point, but in the end no job if you push too hard. Think about it and have an attorney review your employment papers (application, hiring letter if any, job description, union contract if any, other workplace policies and procedures, employment manual, etc.).
