Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I was just wondering if an employer can not pay you for vacation time if it is stated in the employer manual.. I am no longer with that company and I am trying to get my one week vacation and I was told even tho it is in there she has the right to do deny me

Vacation that is vested is treated as earned wages in IL. Unde the circumstances you describe, your former employer owes you the monetary equivalent of the vacation time.
