Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I work for a company that hauls rail containers. Because I did not notice some minor damage to an "ICC Bumper" prior to leaving the rail yard and the portal cameras at the next rail yard spotted the damage, my boss is being charged $150.00 for the repairs. He said he is taking that money out of my check and he knows i did'nt cause the damage. I just did'nt catch it before i left. Can he do that?
