Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

house buying

I am purchasing a home that has a renter on the property. I've been told that he is month to month-so at the end of the month he is supposed to be gone. The seller seems not to want to honor the agreement. What do I have to do to get the seller to honor the agreement and get this guy off the property, or at least put enough in escrow to cover any legal expenses I incurr as a result of an eviction?

Re: house buying

Since you are purchasing a home, do you already have a written and agreed upon Sales Contract? What does that contract say about giving notice to the renter, and providing for an escrow? Are you still within the Attorney Review and Modification time-period, which is typically 5 business days after the Seller signs the contract? Do you have or need an attorney?
