Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

I recd a ten day eviction notice. It says I had to pay $800 and that I had a bug problem. The notice was issued right after the landlord--and they informed me ahead of time--had exterminators come in for a bed bug problem. I am confused because I current on the rent, but I mailed $800 anyway. Is it poorly worded on their part? Do I still have to leave? I showed the notice to building manager and he was sympathetic to me and thought that I wouldn't have to leave if I sent the $800. This is Chicago

You'd have to bring your lease and the notice to an attorney to analyze.
