Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois
I just bought a used car from a dealership and found out afterwards that the tires are so worn that it's illegal to drive on them - is the dealership responsible to replace them?

Not if the tires were visible to the naked eye and not "covered up" or switched out somehow.

Probably not. Although you could make an argument that you were buying an "as is" legal car.
