personal injury liability
little over a year ago i accidently hit
a woman in a gas station she was
just brushed back my insurance policy is 50,000 dollars she hired an
attorney who is getting 40% of what she receives on the claim ive
been worried sick about losing my
house and having my wages garnished i know my insurance co.
has attorneys.should i look into hiring my own attorney now or should i just wait and see what happens im really afraid nothing
like this has ever happened to me
i would really like to hear some reassuring news..

You should feel free to contact the attorney for your insurance company to discuss everything. It may give you some short-term peace of mind. However, it never hurts to have your own attorney as well, at least for certain aspects of the case. If you talk to the insurance company's attorney, see if you can get him/her to give you an indication of where settlement negotiations are at at the moment. If it appears the case is going to settle soon, then you don't really need your own attorney.
