Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Change title on a deed

My sister and her husband passed on and there estate went through probate. I was awarded a parcel of land valued under $10,000. I'ld like to sell it with out involving a realestate agent. The deed is still in my sisters and husbands name. How can I change this?

Re: Change title on a deed

You need only to show that you received the interest in the probabe of their estate. The estate should have issued you an executor's deed but you may show your ownership in other ways. I am glad to help you through the process. I can prepare the contract and do the closing for you once you get a buyer. Call me for a free consultation.
