Giving notice of not renewing lease
After 1 year I have decided not to renew my lease. I have read my lease and there is no time specified for giving notice. I want my deposits back and do not want to stick it to my landlord. They are good folks

Has your lease already expired?. If so, appropriate notice is 30 days. If your lease has not expired, an acceptable amount of time is also 30 - 60 days in light of the circumstances and facts that you have outlined.
