Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
Illinois Condo Law
I live in a condo in Chicago. Our declaration says that board members must be Unit Owners and reside in the building. At our recent annual meeting, a non-resident Unit Owner was elected to the board and subsequently was elected president. Is anything in the Illinois Condominium Property Act that would preclude having this director removed as provided for in the declaration?

I don't believe so but I don't consider myself very expert in Association law.
