Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I have lived with a partner 12 years. we built a home and he only put the home in his name. I have payed half on everything. I need to know my legal rights to the property.

What do you mean partner? You may have an oral partnership. If your partner is willing then something in writing needs to confirm your "share". If your partner is unwilling all you may have is a lawsuit, and possibly some lien rights. See a lawyer immediately.
