problem repair costs

if i have problems with a water heater and main sewage drain in a recently purchased home within a month of the purchase is it my responsibility or the sellers to pay for the repairs

Unfortunately the answer to that question isn't so simple (what did you expect from a lawyer?) But seriously, it depends on a lot of factors, both legal and practical.
