Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
I use Public Storage to store things. One month they had new sprinkler system installed and items were removed without my permission, then they weren't replaced. Now public storage does not know where they are. They had their insurance company call me and offer me a settlement of 1/10 of what the items were worth. Can I accept their check and then sue them for the difference.

You can do whatever. Will it have merit? Maybe. Maybe not. It depends on what is in the release they will want you to sign before you get the check!!
