Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Real state contract

I brough a house and in the contract one of the conditions was that the swiming pool to be up and running, now I find out that the pool heater is not working. The closing of the house was on 8/15/05. Do I have a legal recourse after the closing?

Re: Real state contract

If your contract provided that the pool be in operating condition, then you have a claim against the seller. I would contact the seller and provide them with an estimate of the cost to repair the heater.
