Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Illinois
Is it legal for a high school boy to forcefully rub his body against a high school girl when she says no?
He has tried to look up her shirt. He has complained to the principal that she is disgusting and fat and needs to have detention for inappropriate clothing. Then he has thrown rocks at her causing bruising, squeezed up against her and rubbed his body on her and she says no, get away. He says it's a free country and he can stand there if he wants to. He says she is PMSing and needs to take the tampon out and why doesn't she like him.
He is a football player and the teachers are his coaches and they won't do anything and blame her. He tells everyone that because he complained about her clothes she is trying to get him kicked off the team. She is afraid of him and he has threatened to get back at her. What can we do? Does she have to put up with him and the school doing nothing?
