Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Illinois

I was working for JP Morgan Chase I started working for them in Oct 2010 everything was going great until one day the guys at work where talking about a show called League and I thought they where talking about Glee and I made a comment that I love that show and thats when I made the biggest mistake. The harassment started. They would call me a fag and would imitate me as a very flamboyant person it would get pretty crazy. I told the branch manager I did not feel comfortable with these kind of jokes I told him I was gay. he dismissed me from his office and the harassment got worse. I decided to avoid future harassment to quit.

I'm guessing that Chase disseminated an employee handbook that contained an anti-harassment policy which advised you how to file a complaint. If this is true, and you did not avail yourself of the process, there isn't ,uch recourse you will have. However, I am happy to speak with you about the concerns you have. My law firm has helped many employees who are LGBT.
