my license was suspended for an out of state ticket that i paid as a result i was arrested and my car was impounded i have to have a hearing and they are saying if i am found guilty i will have to pay an additional $500 administrative fee i have my receipts showing that i paid before the suspension was suppose to take place the ticket was for speeding in indiana i called indiana and they sent me an sr16 to take the dmv here when i took it they took the suspension off but the police are saying i am still guilty because the day i was arrested i was suspended which should have never happened what should i do?

It appears that you have a defense for the mistake the officer made in arresting you. Whether you were suspended may also depend on the outcome of your speeding ticket. If you pleaded guilty, your license may have been suspended based on that.

Either way, it would be in your best interest to bring an attorney with you to court to present an organized, coherent and convincing argument to get the case thrown out.
