Legally, since you were driving on a suspended license, regardless of whether you got your license reinstated, the state can prosecute you. However, some courts and some prosecutors will dismiss the charges if you get your license reinstated. You've taken the first step to avoiding a conviction or damage to your criminal and driving record but will need to convince the prosecutor to dismiss the charges.
