Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

I received two tickets today for a hit and run today. I won't get into specifics but I didn't realize I was involved in one until was pulled over. I was polite about it and was issue a (2) violations: hit and run and failing to yield to traffic. Should I plead guilty to these?

Also, I was involved in my first accident last week where I was given another ticket but the police assured me I will not be charged if I show up to court because the witness said he will not show up.

To put the icing on the cake, I pleaded guilty to my first speeding violation a few months thinking it would be my only one.

I am afraid to lose my licience. Should I plead guilty? What should I do?

Do not plead guilty. Hire an attorney. The attorney should be able to help you avoid most if not all of the very serious negative consequences that would result from a plea of guilty. It was a mistake to enter a plea of guilty on the speeding ticket, but you probably realize that now.Good luck!

Do not plead guilty.

With the charges pending against you, you risk losing your driving privileges if you plead guilty. Your charges are very serious moving violations and with your previous guilty plea any conviction on this case will risk your license being suspended.

Hire an attorney. A lawyer can work out a package deal or get your charges amended, reduced or dismissed to protect you from losing your license.

Good luck
