Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois
I got an speeding tickect in Maywood IL 14 mph over the limit but I was checking my speed and it was only 5 mph over I didn't even brake when I spoted the police car when driving down the bridge trafic was normal.
I request a hearing which is due for 12-16-10
Do I have chances to dismiss it?

Yes, it is a BS ticket, but, with this testimony, you lose. You would really benefit from having legal counsel. Often, the cost of an attorney coming to court to represent you, obtain a disposition of Court Supervision, and the payment of a small fine, is far less costly that the insurance company increase in rates once they find out about the speeder if you get a conviction on your record.
