Estate questions
My brother, died awhile ago, and his wife just recently died. They had no children and no will, am I entitled to my brother's half of the estate. I reside in Illinois, my brother and his wife lived in Illinois also.

I probably need more information. Probably yes but the thing I'm confused on is the time frame between your brother's and his wife's death. Typically one's "estate" would go to his wife and if she died second, then whatever she now owned would go through her will or to her heirs. So that's the question, what did your brother own individually that hasn't been distributed already.
