Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

A will splits the proceeds between siblings for benefit of offsprings education. Will stipulates if no offspring and sibling dies, proceeds revert back to trust. Can the other siblings have a lawyer draft an amendment to the will that would allow the sibling w/no offspring to retain their portion regardless of their status - childless or not.

Just about anything can be drafted into a will or a trust that the grantor directs or intends.

However, if your question is with regard to the will or trust of an individual who has already passed, then the answer is generally no.

No. The siblings were never the beneficiaries. There is nothing to "revert back" to. As you have related the terms, the grandchildren are the sole beneficiaries.
