Family will
My uncle who has raised me has just passed away Sept18 he and my brother just moved to Branson West,Mo three months ago. There is a written will but my brother refuses to let me know what is stated in the will. My brother told me Missourri laws are different that no one needs to be notified? I'm sure that is untrue! is there anything i can do to make sure that ny uncles last wishes are carried out and how long do i have?

You need to re-ask this question of a Missouri attorney who can tell you what the requirements are for filing a will in that state.
In Illinois, the will needs to be filed within 30 days of the date of death, but you would then have 6 months to contest it.
