By law, the person in control of the original will needs to file it with the County Probate Clerk within 30 days of death.

Check with the Probate Division at your local County courthouse. They will be able to tell you if a will was filed.

If you are on speaking terms with your sisters, they should at least be willing to give you a copy of the will and the trust. Then you will be able to have a lawyer review the documents for your and determine your rights and what should be done.

Good luck to you!
