Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

I have a irrevocable trust that I set up for my 2 children (ages 8 & 4) a couple years ago for their college education. I am the only trustee, what I need to know is am I able to withdraw funds from the account? The funds would be used towards a home purchase. Can I get in trouble for this?
