Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

My mother-in-law passed away last week and left a mortgage on her home. There is no insurance on the mortgage balance. Is it possible for her children to keep the house and have the mortgage transfered to them? If it matters the house is in the state of Arkansas. The only will available is from 1970 when the children were 4 and 8.

Yes, if the children are the rightful beneficiaries, if the children can refinance the mortgage and if the appropriate Will does not specifically direct sale. Feel free to call me to discuss this further. I won't charge for the phone call.
