Does a trust fund lawyer have the right to request copies of grocery receipts or Target receipts and say they will not pay the credit card bill unless this is provided?

Is the attorney the trustee? Are you a beneficiary of the trust? If the attorney is acting as trustee of the trust, and if the terms of the trust state that only payments for certain types of expenses can be made to beneficiaries from the trust, then the attorney has the right to demand receipts to make sure that any payments he makes do not violate the terms of the trust.
