Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois
Within a Trust, how far does the term descendants go? When does the passing on of assets actually stop?

Generically, an individual's "descendants" are children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc. All the way down the line. A trust may define the terms differently though. Not sure what your second question means, but I gather that you are trying to interpret the language in will for a specific purpose. The only way anyone can possibly figure that out is to see the actual document and know the surrounding facts.
