Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

My widowed aunt passed away in July. She left all her saving/CDs to her youngest sister as beneficiary (there are 3 other sisters). She did not have children. She left her townhome in trust to me so I am trying sell it soon. My aunt did not have a will. I have been doing all the work cleaning out the townhome and then mailing bank information to her sister. My aunt recently got a refund from insurance and I also noticed some stock certificates that do not show a beneficiary. What do suggest I do. Also my aunt who received all the savings/CDs wants me to do the income tax for my deceased aunt. Wouldn't that be her responsibility?

A final income tax return should be filed for the income earned by the decedent up to her date of death.

As for the miscellaneous assets that turned up in the decedent's name only, we can probably handle these by affidavit without opening up a probate. If you would like me to help you please visit www.legacylaws.com and call for a free consultation.
