Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

My wife was declared dead by her father when she was a child along with her sister. Now that he has died and left money, she would like to prove she is his daughter and prevent her sister from taking all the money. What would be the best way for her to handle this?

When you say "declared dead" I assume you mean that they were disowned by the father. The best way to handle it will depend on answers to many questions. I recommend you schedule a free consultation with us. If you are not in the Chicago area then I can refer you to someone closer.
