Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

If the company I work for closes, or goes to bankruptcy, before I get a settlement from worker�s compensation , will I still be able to get a settlement, or would I loose my benefits?

Them being in bankruptcy shouldn't change anything. Most likely their insurance company pays for everything. If they were self insured then the State has a fund that takes care of it. If you need help let us know.
