how can i find my workers compensation case number for free

If you have an attorney they should provide it to you or you can call the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission (just google it for the #, I don't have it handy). If you never formally filed a case with an attorney there is no number and then you have to worry about a statute of limitations problem. Call with any questions.
