In all likelihood, once you settle your claim, that claim is over.

Re: Rotator Cuff and workmans comp

The more accurate answer is that it depends if the "second" injury is also a second work-related accident, which is then compensable.

Any work-related accident is compensable without regard to whether you have previously injured that area or not.

Often people settle their case and then have a re-injury caused by a second accident.

While the amount of the settlement is sometimes smaller, it is "compensable" in the sense that your medical benefits and temporary total disability checks get paid.

In order to tell exactly what your situation is, you need to provide some more fact-specific details.

Good luck,

Re: Rotator Cuff and workmans comp

Dear Sirs:

Settlement will remove from the employer the responsibility to pay for future medical.

There are, however, ways to have this medical paid as a part of the settlement.

Please call to discuss.

Many thanks,
