What is the meaning of ''appeal stands allowed''? Does it mean that the case will be argued further?

Yes. It means that.
�Appeal stands allowed� means that the appellate court has allowed the appellant to appeal against the lower court. Every appeal is not worth admitting, for example an appeal that raises no point of law or is frivolous or is filed simply to harass the other party. Once the appeal stands allowed, it means the court concerned is going to hear the appellant and consider his appeal and adjudicate upon it.
