caste certificate

i belong to kerala &category obc.i do have caste certificate made from kerala.but i dont have one made from up.myall educatio has been done in up.so in my all educational period ihad to show me gen category.tehsildar of my up regiondenied to make caste cert even i showed him keralas made certificate.i have to ask u can iapply asobc category in various public sectors,central govt job& state govt jobs.

The issue boils down to this. You are a Keralite having valid OBC certificate issued at Kerala. You were educated in UP like a general category candidate. Do you need an OBC certificate from UP?

ANSWER--

No. You do not need OBC certificate from every state. Education in a general category situation does not take away your OBC status.
