Practice as an advocate

Can employee Advocate practice in the court? If his duty as an part time job?Then what is the procedure about his enrollment any provision regarding the advocate act plz. reply?

1. A person in employment cannot be enrolled as advocate.

2.A person employed as a legal officer with a company can be enrolled as advocate.

3. A person enrolled as advocate can take up consultancy work or guest lectures.

There is no bar for an employee Advocate to practice in court. The normal procedure for enrollment will be applicable. You may need a nob objection certificate from your employer.
