You cannot execute the order of the High Court as the court allowed you to close down the shop if there is no licence but now the circumstances has altogether changed because now the municipality has issued the licence

Re: shop licence

In India, municipal authorities are most unreliable and crooked. You have suffered, which innumerable litigants have suffered. You must not rely upon the municipal authorities for relief. File a proper eviction suit against the tenant, and throw him out.

I sympathise with you, since my clients sufferred in the same fashion. I can understand and feel your pain and frustration. Bloody rapscallions.

I hope I have answered your query.

Re: shop licence

its not clear what you want...... to close the shop or not.

both things possible in these circumstances.

keep your mouth shut if you want the shop to be closed and go to high court if you want to stop municipality from closing the shop.

Re: shop licence

Your grouse was that an unlicensed shop was being run by someone in your building. Now the shop has become a licensed one. So what is your grouse now? You must supply more details if you still have a grouse.
