Can a case come for hearing when stay has been awarded and it is not vacated or petition has been made for vacating it ?

Yes, the case has to come up for hearing irrespective of the stay order.

ANSWER--Yes, it can come for hearing.
A. If final arguments have not been heard, then it has certainly to come up for hearing.
B. If final arguments have been heard and judgment has been reserved, still the court, at its own discretion, can call for rehearing.
