My collegue and me want to start an online business for which we need to host a website. Our business would involve selling of goods and services, through which we intend to generate income. Kindly advice us on the following:

Do we need to register a company to start an online business in India?

If yes, what type of company we need need to form?

What are the approximate charges we need to pay for registration of a company?

Any other legal aspect we need to look into.

Yes,you have to register the company.

It may be Proprietor ,Partnership,Pvt Ltd and so on.

Charges depends on the type of Registration you do!
