When a cheque gets bounced what are the other possibilities of recovering the money apart from filing legal complaint u/s 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act.

yes, apart from the complaint u/s 138 of negotiable instruments act, the money can be recovery by filing a civil suit for recovery u/o 37 of civil procedure code. this is the fastest remedy available for recovery of dues. once cheque is issued, it falls within the definition of summary suits for recovery.
