Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

i have a PL from SBBJ. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the repayment could be made in time. Last year when the situation improved, repayment was initiated. it continued for a few months and then stopped. even after that a settlement was also worked out. out of which a part payment was also cleared but it did not reach the final settlement and closure.

Now, on call from the bank manager, i went to see him and updated him of my capacity and requested for some time for repayment. i was shocked to see the behaviour of the branch manager and his abusive language as if i was a thief. today even he threatened me of dire consequences. could i approach somewhere to protect my DIGNITY & RESPECT? Could I approach any court for some time to seek some time to repay the bank and protect my social respect.

please guide me.

thanks.
